Two Search Functions, One Big Impact

Our application works by packaging two, geo-sensitive property search functions with a panel of agent connectivity tools.

For the property buyer, the DriveBuy app provides a ‘Property Capture’ tool and a ‘Drive-To-Explore’ mode to match the flow of day-to-day activities, and giving them something new; the ability to search at their own pace.

The ‘Property Capture’ is a geo-targeting property grabber tool; providing buyers with the details of the properties they are directly outside of, and giving them access to a list of available properties within a set radius of their precise location.

The ‘Drive-To-Explore’ mode is the app’s dynamic search facility; following the location of users as they drive along a route, or walk a path, and gather-up all the properties available along the way. The search-as-I-go function.
Less Noise

The application focuses upon delivering property data that really matters to buyers, and doesn't cloud the user experience with the added 'noise' of financial data or market news. This means your properties are shown exactly as they were meant to be.

Smart Communication

Every chat interaction initiated between an App user and a Negotiator can be responded to via email, meaning that communications can easily be synced with your CRM.

Time Out of Office

Our browser add-on allows you to target those properties important to buyers, map these out on a route, and automatically push these to app users all from one screen. That means less time in front of your computer, and more time focusing upon what matters.

Now that is a statistic. But what is actually behind the frustrations Agents are facing with their Portal Partners – what are the core issues?

This is the very question we asked ourselves when we were walking in your shoes. Our offices felt a rising bitterness with our portal subscriptions, something that only worsened when we began reconciling lead history against pocket spend.

But the cost-per-lead “realisation” wasn’t the only cause of this reaction.

For us, it was the quality of lead we were receiving in itself.

We were reaching a point where our Negotiators had begun rolling their eyes when ‘portal-branded’ leads would trickle in, because we all knew they were becoming an uphill struggle to work.

A combination of incomplete / inaccurate buyer data, and partial requirement delivery meant that our sales process began with a data gathering exercise – more so than normal – which amounted to between 12-36 hours extra work.

And in that time window we saw the highest risk period for buyer ‘drop-out’, where interest had wavered or simply moved elsewhere.

In other cases we found there was a rise in ‘property infatuation’ with the portals, where buyers who were not urgently looking for property, but had a trade-up on their future radar, were submitting more unrealistic enquiries and a creating class of ‘fair-weather enquirers’ in our CRM.

We knew it was a time for change.

In the wake of Covid-19 we understood that we could not afford for our relationship with our portal partners to continue without some level of change.


We began by taking stock of the subscriptions & technologies that were performing, and cut out those who were not – but we still felt there was more that needed to be done.


In response, some of us took the move to leave our positions and instead dive into the field of PropTech to see if we could help create more modernised tools, sensitive to needs of Agents and give them access to a higher quality Buyer Leads.


 

And that’s where the “Property DriveBuy” comes in.

We had three issues facing us; 1) the delivery of more complete and accurate buyer data, 2) easier and quicker connection with buyer leads, and 3) reducing the ‘property infatuation’ factor.

And we wanted a system to tackle these issues to be affordable – like, really affordable.

So we decided to cut out the middle man, and remove the need for a portal entirely, focusing our efforts instead on a mobile tool.

The Property DriveBuy app was our response.

Our data was telling us that a good portion of active buyers are looking to trade-up in their immediate area, or find properties which are sensitive to their social needs; closer to work, closer to school, or as part of entirely fresh start.

We needed something that could find properties for buyers whilst they were in these zones, whilst not disrupting their daily schedules. Properties they are actually interested in.

So we took to geo-targetting: creating a system that works from their pockets whilst they are on the move, collecting properties along the way and compiling them for later viewing.

This gives buyers access to the properties relevant to them and their needs, and reduces property ‘doom-scrolling’.

Our property mapping function was developed to allow buyers to visualise & explore properties along their common routes, meaning that they are physically engaging in sales process before they even contact you.

And so we saw the birth of “Live Leads”

By embedding buyers back into the sales process, and having them explore property options by walking or driving by them before they contact you, we help ensure that the lead quality you receive is unmatchable.

We connect you with these buyers at the very point of qualified interest, where they are both “Live” and focussed on property – not just passively scrolling from behind a screen.

And our interconnectivity tools ensure there is no third party handling of your leads: enquiries come straight to your negotiators, from the app – significantly reducing lag.

The sales process becomes shorter, more focussed, and gives you more time back to focus on your business.
